"Our village party, featuring Schuggie’s ceilidh with the very talented Big Moose Band providing live music, was a grin-inducing, exhilarating fun fest from start to finish. The band were fantastic, and Schuggie shone as a caller – we were amazed at how easily he got everyone on the dance floor – and most stayed there all evening.
The booking experience was great - friendly and clear, but the best part of the build-up was the way Schuggie helped us throughout with publicising and selling tickets. He was generous with his time, and knowledgeable too.
On the night, Schuggie had thought of everything – and the fun he brought to our party went way beyond what we’d expected (think dozens of silly hats, a remarkable memory for individual guest’s needs and a unique knack for getting folks to feel included) – it was lovely to realise we could leave everything to him, and as the organisers, let our hair down too.
To sum up, we’ll be calling on Schuggie again – he’s craic in a kilt! 🙂

"We booked Schuggie and the Big Moose band for our wedding ceilidh.
We met with Schuggie a few times ahead of the event which helped us to discuss the finer details and let Schuggie know what we wanted. They accommodated our request for a specific tune and Schuggie kept us up to date on how the practise was getting on.
They were excellent at getting people involved with the dancing despite a wide range of abilities - with some never having danced at a ceilidh before and some having decades of practise. Schuggie was an excellent caller, getting most guests involved and running through the dances before the music started. He even threw in some dances the experienced ones didn't know to level the playing field.
The party hats that Schuggie brought along made for some entertaining photos.
Our guests had a great time and we have received lots of comments about how much they enjoyed the evening. Thank you Schuggie"

"We booked Schuggie for our wedding and booked the Live Band package. Right from the beginning during our first meeting we knew we made the right choice. Schuggie’s energy and enthusiasm for weddings and ceilidhs is unmatched. He promised us he’ll get everyone dancing on the day and he more than delivered on that.
As well as that, he was incredibly professional throughout. Schuggie was so helpful during the planning process, very quick to respond to emails as well as sending helpful information and guidance on planning. He was also very respectful to the wishes of the venue, regarding noise restrictions and when the live music had to finish.
On the wedding day itself, Schuggie and the band were absolutely amazing. They brought so much energy to the dance floor, a ceilidh that remained traditional but also with a few twists that just added extra layers of excitement and joy especially for those new to ceilidh dancing. The comedy hats were very popular with our guests. And finally the videos filmed by Schuggie during the ceilidh where brilliant and captured many moments that we will treasure looking back on.
We genuinely could not have asked for a better ceilidh or a better way to end our wedding night. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone, who Is looking for the perfect entertainment for their special day."

The coordinator said she's never seen the room so alive and it made our wedding truly special - thankyou! The band are really great at getting everyone moving and reading the room, we did 2x 40min slots of dancing and everyone (even though the majority had never attended a Ceilidh) had a go and loved it!"
